LightSim Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of LightSim and constitute a legally binding agreement between the user ("User") and:

By accessing or using the LightSim website, mobile application, or related services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. About LightSim

LightSim provides prepaid mobile telecommunications services that enable users to access mobile data networks through eSIM technology.

The eSIM serves as a technical means of accessing telecommunications services delivered through participating telecommunications network operators.

The LightSim website is provided primarily for informational purposes. Registration, purchases, account management, and service delivery are performed through the LightSim mobile application.

3. Account Registration

Users may create a LightSim account using:

  • Email;
  • Google Sign-In;
  • Sign in with Apple.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials and for all activities performed through their account.

Users must not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.

4. Orders and Service Delivery

Users may purchase mobile connectivity services and eSIM products through the LightSim application.

Available products may include:

  • prepaid data packages;
  • unlimited plans;
  • long-term service plans;
  • pay-as-you-go services;
  • account or package top-ups.

A purchase is completed once payment has been successfully processed and the purchased product, service, or balance becomes available within the User's account.

LightSim's obligation to provide the purchased service is fulfilled when the purchased product, service, or balance becomes available in the User's account.

5. Device Compatibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that their device supports eSIM technology and is compatible with the purchased service.

Compatibility information provided by LightSim is for guidance only and may not include all supported devices.

Some services may require carrier-unlocked devices or devices that support specific network technologies.

6. Activation and Usage

Users are responsible for activating purchased eSIM products within the activation period specified for the product.

Failure to activate an eSIM within the applicable activation period may result in expiration of the product and loss of access to the purchased service.

Service availability, speed, and quality may depend on:

  • network coverage;
  • local conditions;
  • device capabilities;
  • participating network operators;
  • applicable roaming arrangements.

Certain products may be subject to:

  • usage limits;
  • fair usage policies;
  • speed restrictions;
  • activation requirements;
  • coverage limitations;
  • validity periods;
  • balance expiration periods;
  • other product-specific conditions disclosed at the time of purchase.

Product-specific information displayed within the LightSim application forms part of the applicable service conditions for the purchased product or service.

7. Pricing and Payments

Prices are displayed within the LightSim application at the time of purchase.

Prices may change without prior notice. Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

Payments are processed through licensed payment service providers.

LightSim does not store full payment card details.

Where available, users may choose to enable automatic renewals. Automatic renewals may be cancelled through account settings before the next renewal is processed.

Applicable taxes may be included in displayed prices where required by law.

8. Refunds

Because eSIM products and telecommunications services are digital services that may be activated and used immediately after purchase, refunds are not automatically available for all purchases.

Refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of purchase.

Refunds may be available in cases including:

  • technical inability to provide the purchased service;
  • activation failures attributable to LightSim;
  • device incompatibility;
  • duplicate or incorrect charges.

Requests relating to accidental purchases may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis where the purchased product has not been activated or used.

Users may be asked to provide screenshots, device information, error messages, or other information reasonably necessary to investigate a refund request.

Refunds are generally not available where:

  • the purchased service has been fully or partially used;
  • the product has expired;
  • disclosed product conditions, usage limits, validity periods, fair usage policies, or balance expiration periods have been reached;
  • the inability to use the service is unrelated to the operation of the LightSim Service.

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

LightSim aims to review refund requests within twenty-four (24) hours, although additional time may be required where further investigation is necessary.

9. Customer Support

Customer support is available through the contact methods provided on the LightSim website and within the application.

LightSim aims to respond to support requests promptly, although response times may vary depending on request volume and complexity.

10. Prohibited Use

Users must not:

  • use the Service for unlawful activities;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service;
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts;
  • engage in fraudulent activity;
  • misuse promotional offers or services;
  • use the Service in a manner that may adversely affect other users or network operators.

LightSim may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service where such activities are detected.

11. Suspension and Termination

LightSim may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service where:

  • these Terms are violated;
  • fraudulent activity is suspected;
  • required by law;
  • necessary to protect the security, integrity, or operation of the Service.

Users may delete their account through the LightSim mobile application at any time.

Account termination does not automatically entitle a user to a refund.

12. Intellectual Property

"LightSim" and related logos are trademarks of TeleXchange System OÜ.

All intellectual property rights relating to the Service, including software, content, trademarks, logos, designs, graphics, and materials, remain the property of TeleXchange System OÜ or its licensors.

Nothing in these Terms grants any ownership rights in the Service or its intellectual property.

13. Limitation of Liability

LightSim provides the Service on a reasonable-efforts basis.

LightSim does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted availability of the Service;
  • error-free operation;
  • availability of third-party mobile networks;
  • specific network speeds or performance levels.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LightSim's total liability arising from any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected product or service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

LightSim may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version of these Terms will be available on the LightSim website.

Continued use of the Service following publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Estonia.
